Autumn semester examination period 2026/2027:
Mon 23.11.2026 to Sun 17.01.2027: Workstations in the reading room (ground floor to 3rd floor) are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm
Open stacks and lending services are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 10 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm, closed on Sundays.
The information desk and special collections are open during regular opening hours.

Parking spaces for people with disabilities are located on Predigerplatz within the pedestrian zone. Strict traffic regulations apply in the Niederdorf (Zurich’s Old Town). As a general rule, the pedestrian zone may only be accessed with an official access permit from the City of Zurich. From 12 noon onwards, you must therefore obtain a day permit for the restricted zone in advance.
