Information and advice from the information desk
If you want to know how to borrow media or where the workspaces in the library are, need help with your search for literature, or have any other questions, the staff at our information desk in the reading room will be pleased to help you.
More detailed advice for students
If you are writing a dissertation for your seminar, bachelor’s or master’s degree and need help, you are welcome to make an appointment with us. Our academic experts will take the time to assist you. You can receive an hour’s advice on research questions free of charge.
During the closure of the Zentralbibliothek due to COVID-19, we offer advice via video call.
Law students can use the services of the Law Institute (RWI). For advice related to mathematics and the natural sciences, contact the Main Library (HBZ).

If you want help searching in the library catalogues or the internet, we will provide you with individual advice and support for 30 minutes.
