Professional expertise and commitment are required to meet the challenges and developments in public librarianship. Continuous, practical training allows you to strengthen your skills and stay up to date. At the same time, it gives you the opportunity to network with colleagues from other libraries and exchange experiences.
On behalf of the Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich, we offer practical training courses lasting several days for employees in school and municipal libraries.
Our lecturers successfully bridge the gap between theory and practice
They bring with them in-depth specialist knowledge, a deep understanding of the Swiss library landscape and a strong practical focus. In addition to experienced specialists from the public library sector, external experts also enrich our courses.
