Collaborative partners of the Global LGBTIQ+ Health Project from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Oceania provide insights into the local situation. They explain why they are participating in the project and why international collaboration is of central importance. The focus is on promoting the health of all people as well as enabling social participation. The importance of solidarity within the LGBTIQ community and beyond - such as through allies - is also highlighted. In addition, the challenges currently faced by the partners in their respective countries are outlined, particularly in the context of political and societal developments, and why global cooperation is necessary.
