Lunch & Learn: Data Stewardship in the Humanities: Best Practices, Services and Support at Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI)
Presenter: Alina Degen | UZH, Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI)
The production and (re-)use of research data are becoming increasingly pivotal to scholarship in the Humanities and the Cultural Heritage at large. Yet many researchers still face questions about how to plan, manage, and share their data effectively and in a sustainable way.
At the Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI), we have built extensive expertise in creating and publishing research and collection data according to FAIR and Open Research Data (ORD) principles. Since spring 2025, a dedicated Data Steward supports researchers at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (PhF).
This talk offers an overview of the services of support and expertise available at SARI and illustrates best practices for producing and sharing research data within the context of open research.
