The ZBcollections archive portal
ZBcollections allows you to search through the Zentralbibliothek’s Special Collections online. It includes manuscripts, sheet music, prints and drawings.
Comprehensive online catalogue
www.zbcollections.ch allows you to search through the many items contained in the Zentralbibliothek’s diverse collections at any time and wherever you are. It catalogues:
- All estates and deposits by living authors
- Association, company, guild and family archives
- Manuscripts
- Sheet music
- Graphic works
A range of search options
The portal allows users to navigate in the hierarchical tree structure of the collections, from the fonds at the top down to individual documents. As a result, all documents are localised in the archive plan.
Older collections that have not yet been fully catalogued electronically are listed in PDF catalogues, which users can search through.
There is also a full text search option, with various search filters to narrow down the selection. Use enquiries can be submitted electronically direct from the portal.
